Who We Are...

Italy Discovered is an exclusive and personally run tour company. Owners Massimiliano and Natasha Sarrocchi have been organizing and personally guiding small groups through Tuscany for the past eight years.

Massimiliano is a native Roman who was the former chef and co-owner of Il Cortile del Re and Pane e Vino restaurants.

Eight years ago, due to several requests from long standing customers, Massimiliano and Natasha decided to take a small group of 12 people to Italy for a very personalized food and wine tour of the Tuscan region.

The group size never exceeds 12 people, thus ensuring the personalized nature of our tours. A small group has access to aspects of Tuscan life unavailable to mass tourism. Our aim is to avoid the rushed schedule which often arises with many other larger tour groups. Instead, we want to provide an effortless week for our travelers, a week in which they may enjoy an organized, yet flexible agenda that incorporates the best of Tuscan food, wine and, of course, the art and culture.

Massimliano's love of traditional Tuscan cooking, as well as his longtime interest and experience with Tuscan wines, coupled with Natasha's enjoyment in hosting our groups through Italy, has resulted in a formula which has so far outreached most of our traveler's expectations. Hence, several clients have become return travelers over the years.
